Locally based in The Bend of Islands, Jess Jarvie is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans painting, drawing, and botanical studies. Her practice is guided by careful observation of the natural environment, translating transient moments into watercolour and mixed-media artworks that reflect both fragility and quiet intensity.

Jess creates cohesive bodies of work around central themes, exploring the act of seeing - pausing to notice and respond to the subtle shifts of light, season, and texture. Through her contemplative approach, she offers viewers a window into the ephemeral qualities of the world around us.
