Live Music at Yarrawood Estate

• Yarrawood is proud to host Two's Company. 

  John Donaldson and Thomas Libreri have recently combined their broad musical interests to form the duo ‘Two’s Company’.  The music selection of this duo is wide and varied from simple acoustic pieces to more complicated arrangements of old jazz classics/standards to modern popular hits. Together John and Thomas bring more than 70 years playing experience to the Yarra Valley though their most recent collaboration.

  John started playing guitar in 1968, is self taught and unable to even read music. In other musical lives, John supported acts such as America, the Flying Pickets and Rene Geyer, in addition to some studio/session recording work. Now retired, John lives in the Kinglake Ranges and recently decided to try a more ‘up close and personal’ approach with a smaller audience through this duo. John recently worked with Thomas’ reception band ‘Destiny” as the lead guitarist.

  Thomas has been closely involved with music for the past 30 years and while specialising in bass and vocals, he also plays piano, guitar and drums. Thomas has worked as a session musician and performed with artists such as Wendy Stapleton and Joe Camilleri as well as bands such ‘After Five’ and ‘Gee Whiz’.

All dates are played in the open air and are FOC.  Please bring a rug and make yourself comfortable on the lawn or enjoy from our open deck.

Entrée

Pumpkin soup

Homemade pumpkin soup served with freshly baked sour dough bread.

OR

Prawn rice paper rolls

Vietnamese rice paper rolls with fresh prawns, chopped coriander leaves, thinly grated carrots and rice vermicelli noodles served with sweet dipping sauce.

Main

Chicken stir-fry with cashew nuts

Fresh chicken breast strips stir- fried in a light oyster sauce with seasonal vegetables served with jasmine rice.

OR

Atlantic Salmon

Lightly seasoned Atlantic salmon fillets served on potato mash with fresh asparagus spears and topped with homemade garlic butter.

Dessert

Citrus tart served with fresh cream and strawberries.

OR

Sticky date cake with warm butterscotch sauce served with fresh cream and strawberries.

Kids Menu

(12 yrs & under)

Mini Hawaiian Pizza. Includes a soft drink or juice.

Dessert

Ice-cream with either strawberry or chocolate topping.
