The 2008 Rose was harvested from Cabernet Sauvignon block 1a, and Merlot block 3a on our estate. A warm and dry summer in conjunction with low cropping levels resulted in fully ripe and extremely flavoursome fruit. With the appearance of Rose water, there are enticing aromas of red currant and mandarin fruits. Mulberry, strawberry and citrus fruits provide a luscious lead into a balanced palate finished by guava and tropical fruit.
Best enjoyed young when the fruit flavours are freshest.
