Yarrawood Estate is a family owned and operated vineyard established in 1997.

In 2002 Yarrawood Estate proudly launched their Tall Tales range. With the iconic lyrebird character on the label Tall Tales includes a broad selection of quality red and white wines from our Yarra Valley vineyard. 
The range represents honest value and is indicative of Yarrawood’s commitment of providing classic, cool climate Yarra Valley wines.

The picturesque Yarrawood Estate vineyard and café/cellar door is located on the Melba highway, only 3km north of the Yarra Glen township.  Not only can you sample our full Tall Tales range but also sit back with a glass of wine, a cup of coffee, or enjoy a snack or meal in the relaxing atmosphere of our cafe and take in the uninterrupted and simply awesome views.

Wine news/ releases, upcoming events and Yarrawood Estate facilities: 

• Queen's Birthday long weekend - Saturday the 7th, Sunday the 8th and Monday the 9th of June 2008 - The Yarrawood Cellar Door and Cafe will open normal hours - 10am - 5pm.
• New vintage wine for release in May 2008 -  2003 Cabernet Sauvignon - released 03/05/08, and the 2008 Sauvignon Blanc - released 28/05/08.
• Yarrawood Market - a produce, art, and craft market on the 2nd Sunday of the month, resumes in October of 2008.
• Private evening functions in our cellar door (finger food and full menu available) - ideal for birthdays and work functions
• Marquee weddings, functions, and concerts in our superb grounds.
• BBQ facilities (bookings required).
• Our best ever Chardonnay: 2005 barrel matured Chardonnay - Silver Award at the 2007 Rutherglen Wine Show, Bronze medals at The Royal Melbourne Wine Show 2007 and The Dixons Creek/ Steels Creek Wine Show 2007, rated 3.5 stars in Winestate Magazine and selected in top 7 of price category in National Liquor News Chardonnay tasting - August 2007.
